Evolve Curiosity of Science and for Life

‘Scientists have become the bearers of the torch of discovery in our quest for knowledge’ Stephen Hawking.

To this end in the Science department at Thomas Becket Catholic School, our daily pursuit is to achieve this purpose by equipping pupils with analytical and logical thinking skills which makes them valuable members of society who can question and challenge societal norms and systems.

We aspire to give our pupils the best possible education by nurturing curiosity and creating a thirst for knowledge. Therefore, exposing pupils to the love of discovery that challenges their thinking and inspires them to question and extend their knowledge.

Science ensures that pupils are prepared with the knowledge of the world around them which they can draw on to make informed decisions. Also, pupils are equipped with knowledge of cutting-edge technology. Therefore, pupils are confident individuals ready for a fulfilled life, the workplace of the future and can add value to society.
